Senior Legal Advisor — Residence permits, work permits, investor visas, and professional cards for international clients in Belgium.
Marie leads the immigration and permits practice at LawSupport. She graduated from UCLouvain and began her legal career at EY Law Belgium, where she focused on employment law and cross-border worker mobility. She has spent the last several years advising international entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals on Belgian residence permits, work permits, single permits, and self-employed professional cards. She guides clients through the full application process, from document preparation to commune registration.
Marie works with corporate assignees, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals relocating to Belgium from outside the EU. Her client base includes technology executives on intra-company transfers, non-EU founders applying for the self-employed professional card, and family units requiring family reunification permits alongside a primary work permit. She regularly advises on the Single Permit procedure from both the employer and individual side.
Marie is a member of the Belgian Bar Association (Barreau de Bruxelles) and participates in the annual Immigration Law Update organised by the Belgian Office of Foreigners (DVZ/OE). She follows regulatory changes to the Office of Foreigners closely — particularly the ongoing reforms to the professional card regime and the implementation of EU Blue Card criteria in Belgian law.
